A number of shops are open year 'round, carrying items
which cannot be found anywhere else. Friday-Monday
are the best days to find the shops open. The bookstore
is open every day.

features fine antiques, hand painted furniture, dishes, silver, lamps pictures,
sofas, chairs........ There is a special children's room complete
with child's hand painted tea table and chairs, bears, numerous items to
delight that special child. Let Diane help you select your flooring,
furniture, drapes, and accent pieces for a room or whole house. Open every
day except Tue. and Thurs.
The Chautauqua Emporium...
The Chautauqua Emporium is located on the Concourse Level of the St. Elmo.
Mary Doebler, proprietress brings her customers the finest tapestries,
pillows, throws, handcrafted garments, Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries,
artistic sweaters, sweatshirts, Victorian style cards, tapes, memory books,
jewelry... A potpourri of gifts and personal items. Open Thurs. -

The Chautauqua Bookstore...
Chautauqua is noted for its Bookstore. (Even the
President shopped here). Featured are many holiday related
books & gifts. You will find books on every topic, newspapers
from various cities, NY Times, Wall Street Journal, magazines, cards, children's
toys and books, office supplies, Chautauqua memorabilia, jewelry, gifts
for the home... the list goes on and on. Everyone stops at the Bookstore.

The Unicorn...
At the Unicorn you will find antique everything...dishes, toys, dolls,
minatures, decorations, lamps, jewelry, furniture,.... stop in and browse
and you are sure to find something you remember from your past. Open
weekends.
The Summer Gallery....
The
Summer Gallery is more than a summer gallery, it is open year 'round and
features all original works of paintings, lithographs, pottery, glass,
wearable art, jewelry, fun and fanciful pieces for the home. A very
unusual place to shop and browse.
